Authenticity

It felt very important to represent the experiences of careworkers with authenticity so we made a decision early on not script this but to interview a number of different careworkers so that we could hear from their in their own words.

In order to bring the story to life we captured some typical situations using older actors as the clients while allowing our care workers to demonstrate their skills for the students watching.

Approaching this as a documentary allowed the content to have the truthful feeling that was important to LASA.
