Broken Hill

Broken Hill received a prestigious placement on the Australian National Heritage List in 2015. We were engaged by the Nest to help create two short documentary videos to commemorate this historical moment for Broken Hill Tourism

We conducted a series of interviews with the people behind the successful campaign: Professor Simon Molesworth, heritage consultant Liz Vines, historian Peter Black and the current City mayor, Wincen Cuy to create a Short Documentary video about the History of Broken Hill.

In the second documentary video we created looked to the future of Broken Hill and featured Pro Hart’s son, John Hart, Esther La Rovere – managing director  of the Palace Hotel and Jason King the owner of Bells Milk Bar.

LOCATION: BROKEN HILL, NSW | CLIENT: THE NEST

‘For Real’ campaign

The Nest approached ginja ninja to help them create a series of 5 tourism videos that were to targeted to very specific audiences as a way of raising awareness of Broken Hill as a holiday destination.

The content for each video would be based on conversational interviews with people living in Broken Hill in their homes, sheds and businesses.
